Professional Dog Trainer
From a young age, I have been captivated by the animal world. Whether observing the intricate movements of ants swarming over a snack I left for them or attempting to coax a rabbit into a cuddle, my fascination with creatures great and small has always been a central part of who I am. My professional journey with dogs began in high school while volunteering at Wright-Way Rescue in Morton Grove, Illinois. That formative experience introduced me to the rewarding world of animal care.
After serving in the military, I was fortunate to transition into a role at a dog training facility that offered a range of behavioral services. This opportunity allowed me to immerse myself in the field and gain first-hand experience in canine behavior and training methodologies. Since then, I have dedicated myself to continual learning, studying the work of leading thinkers in the dog training community.
I approach every piece of information with a critical eye, integrating only the most effective and ethical practices to help dogs and their owners build stronger, more trusting relationships. Outside of my professional work, my partner and I share a passion for staying active, whether fishing, playing sports, or exploring new places together.
Beyond our love for animals and adventure, our intellectual interests lie in theology and philosophy, with a particular focus on epistemology, the study of knowledge, belief, and truth. These disciplines not only enrich our personal lives but also inform the reflective and principled way I approach my work with dogs and their humans.
